Travis found his love of racing at the age of eight when he got his first dirt bike. From there the passion for speed was born and by the age of ten he was racing moto throughout the southeast. At thirteen Travis moved from the dirt to the street, but continued on two wheels as he moved to sportbike racing. As Evolution has it, Travis decided that wanted to try his hand at sportscar racing. His style is best described as powerful and demanding.

"I definitely like to play the bully role.. (laughs). I like to muscle the car around the course and really push it on the straights."

His two-wheel experience plays a big role in his style. The exposure and on-the-edge style of sportbike racing has helped him have a better awareness of what the limit of the car is and how to push it beyond the boundaries.

What Scott says about Travis:

"His physical awareness of the car is just phenomenal. That's where I learn the most from him as a teammate. He has such a great ability to really get every ounce of performance out of the car when we need it the most. He's one of the best drivers in wet conditions that I've ever seen. The laps he can turn when grip is low are just ridiculous."

Scott is a veteran sportscar driver, with experience spanning twenty years. He received his first ATV at the age of seven and was racing go-karts by age nine. He earned his sportscar wings through the testing programs of both Porsche and BMW and put the U.S. road racing scene on quick notice when he won the first three races of his pro career. With a strong German lineage that shows in his driving, his style has often been described as calculated and ruthless.

"My strength is in the turns for sure. I like to stalk the car in front of me and attack in the curves when it's least expected."

Although his mathematical background and "surgical" driving approach has earned him the nickname "The Doctor," he's quick to point out: "I'm not an actual doctor... of anything." Though with enough prodding he will reluctantly agree that the moniker fits his style

What Travis says about Scott:

"He's got such an insane level of precision in his driving. He can gain or lose one thousandth of a second on a lap and know exactly where it happened before looking at the data. He can put a car places that you just wouldn't think it could fit. It's one thing to go fast on the straights, but he just attacks curves like nobody else on the circuit has the ability to do."
